He ranks among the world's best-paid athletes through endorsements and appearance fees that are dramatically higher than any other track star. Puma is his man endorsement in a deal worth $10 million a year through the 2017 World Championships.

He missed the 2014 postseason after season-ending surgery in August to remove bone chips from his right elbow, but heaped a $388,000 playoff share when the Giants triumph the Series.
