He is a Colombian
professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Colombia
national team, as an attacking midfielder or winger.
The 23-year old striker left with the Golden Boot
award, given to the best player of the event, for scoring a tournament-high six
goals, though his Colombian squad lost in the quarterfinals of the 2014 World
Cup. He entered Real Madrid after the tournament finished in a $100 million
transfer move. He recently signed a long-term extension with Adidas and a new
contract with Gatorade.
